BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT
Welcome!!! I just wanted to take the opportunity to tell you how excited I am to be working with your child this 2016-2017 school year. Each school year I see enthusiastic preschoolers arrive to school jumping out of their cars and skipping down the hallways to their classrooms. Please be assured, though, that it is also normal to see a few more fearful with some tears running down their cheeks. As a preschooler’s confidence grows and new routines are established, the tears will soon be gone. The drop-off time for students is between 8:00am and 8:15am and pick up is at 2:30pm. If your child is taking the bus this does not pertain to you as you will have your own set times with the bus company. I am attaching a general classroom schedule of what will be occurring within your child’s classroom and at what times (this will not include any services that your child is receiving yet). I am also asking for you to bring the following items for your child that I may keep in school:
•Snack (Daily) • Lunch (Daily)
• Change of clothing • Pull-ups & wipes (if required)
• 2 Box of Tissues • 2 Roll of Paper Towels
All families should have received a packet of forms, including the annual student information, medical, and dismissal forms. Please complete these forms and return them as soon as possible. If you need copies of any forms, they can be accessed from the district’s website http://flboe.com. Also, if your child will be ordering breakfast/lunch please return the menu circling which item you would like them to eat that day. Lastly, homework will be sent home every Monday and is expected to be returned on Fridays. If your child is having any difficulties with it let me know. I will be writing home to you daily to let you know how your child’s day was. If there is anything of importance that you would like to tell me or ask me please write to me in your child’s communication log, call me at (201)-585-4612 ext. 1907, or email me at email@example.com.
I look forward to a WONDERFUL year with you all!
